‚ÄčSeagrass Nutrition & Therapy

Alexia Beauregard, MS, RD, CSP, LD

Thank you for your time and interest in Seagrass Nutrition and Therapy.

As a food allergy/intolerance specialist dietitian, my goal is to help you or your child find foods that meet your goals, reduce any symptoms you may be experiencing around food, help make and keep your food interesting, and make food fun again. One of the greatest joys in life should be sharing a meal with the people you love without fear and anxiety.

As a faculty member of the Ellyn Satter Institute, I have a special interest and have received specialized training in feeding and eating disturbances in children and adults. Restricted diets can increase stress levels for parents who want to feed their children and or those that want to eat and know the food will not hurt them. As a result of this stress, foods may become overly restricted causing nutrition to suffer. As a eating and feeding specialist, I can help you and your family with those issues and bring happiness and joy back to your table.

Working together, we can improve your quality of life around food.

What do my credentials mean?

I obtained my Master's of Science Degree from Winthrop University, am a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatrics, and am licensed in South Carolina and Georgia.

Why should you choose to work with a Registered Dietitian?

Registered Dietitians (RD) complete coursework at accredited institutions in addition to completing supervised practice during an internship. To become a RD an individual must also pass a national registration exam. When you choose to work with a RD, you can feel confident that you are working with someone who has a scientifically based education and has met national standards in order to practice dietetics.
